Heavy-duty, food-grade Mylar bags are ideal for long-term storage of dry goods and freeze-dried foods. Perfect for keeping grains, coffee beans, dried beans, etc. fresh and protected from light, moisture, insects, dust, and debris. Save money by purchasing these foods in bulk and then re-packing in smaller portions. The Mylar bags' 7-mil thickness resists puncturing and prevents oxygen and water from penetrating the bag, and a foil layer excludes light to further protect flavor and freshness. These flat-sided Mylar bags can be vacuum-sealed in a chamber vacuum sealer. They can be sealed, but not vacuum-sealed, with an external vacuum sealer (with increased sealing time/temperature). Tear notch for easy opening. Safe for refrigerator and freezer. Not suitable for boiling or microwaving. 50 bags.
