Weaver Detachable Top Mount Rings come with an aluminum saddle that reduces the overall weight. There is a steel strap added to ensure extra strength. The detachable top rings are high-quality Weaver material and can handle any scope mounting you require.
They are available in a handful of choices, including Grand Slam steel and aircraft-grade aluminum. To remove the top mount ring, you need only loosen the two thumb nuts, and it will come right off. Remounting is just as simple; you tighten each of the thumb nuts until they are snug.
