Like its smaller stable mate, the .30-06 Spring. brass has the same durable construction and incredible precision, allowing for many, many reloadings. The 30-06 Springfield brass is popular for large game hunting applications as well as mid-range rifle competitions.

- Case Construction base: The base section is hard and strong and the dimensions remain constant and will hold primers tight in primer pocket even after repeated reloading

- Neck: Strict tolerances in concentricity and wall thickness are used in manufacturing. The neck and shoulder are annealed to withstand repeated reloading
